Passing of a friend, Romin Texas Red aka Dale Rediess

This news is very heart wrenching, Texas Red was one of the original Sun River Rangers.
He constructed boot hill the hanging post and also made the little memorial cowboys. Red was
there for every meeting to get the club started and when the club was in dire straights
when all the clubs money was stolen, he is the one who sold life memberships to get us
back in the black. Most of the signs on the buildings were made by Red, he was what you
might call a silent partner.

Red helped my kids learn to shoot and taught them to skin a rattle snake. He made everyone
his friend.

Sad news to report, Cowboys:

Roamin' Texas Red aka Dale Rediess passed away in his sleep last night (Wednesday). His sister said an obituary should be in Saturday's paper. Services will possibly be on Sunday.

Texas Red had been out for a while recovering from a fall last year. He was just coming back out to the range and was a great help at the State Shoot. He had even donated a handmade wooden cutting board as one of the prizes.

Texas Red will be missed....
